Admission
Second Languages offered are Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit in well established Language Labs with Modernized Foreign Language equipments to amplify learning methods to communicate effectively in English and focus on all-round Personality Development. In a rapidly changing and challenging world we believe it to be the school’s prime task to foster in its community in life-long love of learning and sense of responsible citizenship. Our educational programmes are tailored to develop the comprehension, skills and attitudes that support this. We reckon that as we move through the process of inquiry, discussion, decision – making and reflection, we develop an understanding of ourselves, of other people and our world. Admission procedures are based on ward’s academic and co-curricular performance as per the norms fixed for each grade by the management. At CMHSS, Parents, teachers and students are partners in learning.
Parents are encouraged to take functional role in guiding and supporting their children’s learning. All members of the community are asked to embrace the values and positive attitudes we crave in our students, collaboration, sharing of ideas and creative conflict resolution should characterise all relationships within the school community. Our students emboldened to take risks and to do their best at all times. Personal success is celebrated and students are provided emotional and moral backing in reaching their potential intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.

For entry into KG1, the students must have attained the age of 3 years by Jan 31.
The Training
To influence young lives, utmost care and tenacious planning is undertaken to assure a disciplined, development – oriented training at Carmel. Prime importance is given to cater academic excellence of students. Every student is privy to individual attention and guidance from one’s mentors. Parental intervention and support are solicited and facilitated in their hour of need.
Examination and Reports
The Academic breakthroughs and extracurricular performance of the students are appraised and intimated to the parents in person after each Terminal examination. Progress report for every Mid – Terminal examination is sent to the parents through students or by mail as deemed suitable. Results of the annual exams will be mailed directly to the parents.
‘A1’ Grade Badges and certificates will be awarded to the eligible students for their commendable achievements in exams. Pupils are promoted on the basis of the whole year’s performance. Much importance is given to Terminal and Mid-Terminal Examination marks. Attendance and regularity in work also have due weightage in the promotion norms. The final examination is meant to substantiate the result of the year’s work.

Carmel installs the lesson of caring mother earth to her wards by showing them the working models of the same practically from Carmel Green Campus.
